Resetting an Employee Account
If an employee forgets their password or cannot access their TEQ account, you can easily reset it from the HR module. Resetting the account triggers an email that allows the employee to create a new password securely.
Step 1: Open the Employee List
- Navigate to HR → Employees.
- Search for the employee using their name or email.
Step 2: Reset the Employee’s Account
- Locate the employee in the list.
- Click the Reset Account button on the right side.
- ✉️ This immediately sends a password reset email to the employee.
Once the email is sent, the employee can follow the link to set a new password and regain access to TEQ and the Ferdia Driver App.
🛠 Troubleshooting
Employee did not receive the reset email
- Ask the employee to check their spam or junk folder.
- Verify the email address on their employee card is correct.
- Resend the reset by clicking Reset Account again.
Reset Account button is missing
- Your user role may not have permission to manage employees.
Check permissions under Settings → Admin → User Roles.
Employee still can’t log in after resetting
- Ensure the employee is marked as Active in HR → Employees.
- Confirm the reset link has not expired (ask them to retry).
Email domain is blocking TEQ messages
- Ask your IT department to whitelist TEQ’s email domain.
