Assigning a Mobile Device to a Vehicle in TEQ

Assigning a mobile device to a vehicle in TEQ helps ensure accurate trip execution, reliable tracking, and seamless communication between vehicles and the system.

Step 1: Open Mobile Device Settings

Go to Settings โ†’ Mobile Device.

Open the Device Management section to view all available mobile devices and their current assignments.

Step 2: Select the Vehicle

In the device management list:

  • Locate the vehicle you want to assign a mobile device to
  • Click Assign Device next to the vehicle

This will open a selection window showing available devices.

Step 3: Choose a Device

In the pop-up window:

  • Review the list of available mobile devices
  • Select the correct device
  • Confirm your selection to complete the assignment

Once assigned, the device will be linked to the vehicle and used for trip execution and tracking.

Device not visible in the list

  • Verify the device is registered in TEQ
  • Ensure the device is not already assigned to another vehicle

Assignment not saving

  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Confirm you have the correct user permissions

Vehicle not appearing in Device Management

  • Check that the vehicle is active
  • Verify it belongs to the correct department or garage
