Managing Quotations

Managing Quotations in TEQ

TEQ allows you to view, edit, copy, and categorize all quotations before they become Active Orders. This helps you efficiently manage customer requests, follow up on pending offers, and understand why some quotations are not accepted.

Step 1: View Quotations

  1. Go to Sales β†’ Quotations.
  2. Use the filters to quickly locate any quotation by:
    • Status
    • Date
    • Salesperson
    • Department

πŸ’‘ Tip: Sorting quotations by status (Draft, Sent, Lost) makes it easy to prioritize follow-up tasks.

Step 2: Edit or Copy Quotations

Edit a Quotation

  • Open the quotation directly from the list.
  • Update any details such as times, prices, customer information, or trip requirements before sending.

Copy a Quotation

  • Use Copy when you need the same quotation for:
    • A different date
    • A recurring customer
    • Similar trip setup

This speeds up your workflow and avoids rebuilding similar quotations from scratch.

Step 3: Mark Quotations as Lost

If a quotation remains in Draft status but the customer declines or cancels:

  1. Open the quotation.
  2. Change the status to Lost.
  3. Provide a reason for the lost quotation (required).

You can also view a full list of lost quotations under Sales β†’ Quotations β†’ Lost Quotations, helping you analyze lost-business trends.
