Driver availability

Efficient planning relies heavily on knowing your bus drivers' availability. You can access this information by going to Planning - Driver Availability. From there, you can go to the Availability Management tab to get an overview of your drivers' current availability. Additionally, you can view the complete schedule of the chosen drivers for in-depth details. To add new availability, press the + Add Availability button and provide the relevant details such as the category (e.g. "Want to Work"), start date, and end date. Any changes made to the drivers' Teq calendars will be reflected in their personal Ferdia Driver App calendar.


To guarantee that you have a driver available in critical situations, try using the Driver Alarm feature in TEQ. This alarm system will automatically alert any available driver when there's an urgent mission that needs attention. To set it up, go to Planning - Alarm. Next, click the "+ New Alarm" button and complete the required fields. Make sure to choose the drivers who will receive the alert. On each driver's employee card, you can designate those who need to be on standby for urgent situations. The alarm will be sent to them via SMS. 

To stop an existing alarm, locate the one you want to cancel from the list and click the "Stop" button. You'll be prompted to enter a message to send to the drivers, and they'll receive it once the alarm is deactivated.
