eAccounting / Spiris Integration — Setup and User Guide
This article applies to TEQ customers who use Visma eAccounting or Visma Spiris. If your company uses a different accounting system, this article does not apply to you.
❌ Do not follow this guide if your company uses TripleTex or any other accounting system. The VAT code structure and configuration requirements are different for each system.
What this integration does
When TEQ produces a customer invoice, it automatically creates that invoice and any credit notes in eAccouting/Spiris. TEQ finds the customer in eAccouting/Spiris or creates them automatically, builds the order lines from trip, toll, and additional item charges, and posts the invoice directly. No manual re-keying is required.
Before you start
Three things must be in place before the first invoice will go through.
Step 1: Connect TEQ to eAccouting/Spiris by activating the integration
In TEQ:
- Go to Settings in the sidebar and open Integrations.
⚙️ The Integrations section is only visible if it has been enabled for your user role. If you cannot see it, go to Settings, open Admin, and click User Role. Find the user role you need to edit, open the Features tab, locate Integrations, and mark it as enabled. If you do not have access to Admin, contact your TEQ administrator.
- Fint the integration Visma eAccounting and click Authorize Visma eAccounting.
- Make sure the eAccouting/Spiris user you are logging in with has sufficient accessrights to create customers and invoices.
- Once authorized, the integration is active.
- Go to Settings, open Company, and click Billing Profile. Select Visma eAccouting as the Accounting Service.
Go-live checklist
Before going live, confirm all of the following:
- Integrations enabled on the relevant user role under Settings, Admin, and User Role
- All articles exist in eAccouting/Spiris, with article-number matching the Item Code in TEQ
